American “Perc-Rite” Drip Dispersal Systems can be used in Micromounds on shallow limiting zone sites and all sites with minimum 10 inches to water table and 16 inches to rock. Drip tubing may be “surface installed” on the ground surface (covered with soil) or plowed into the soil where landscapes have minimum 20 inches to limiting zones and slopes 0 to 25%.
Anua International
Anua International is the manufacturer for Puraflo Peat Fiber Biofilters and other pretreatments that reduce BOD and nitrates. Puraflo modules are a DEP approved passive “Advanced” treatment which can be used in conjunction with alternate at-grade beds and small flow treatment facilities.
Ecoflo Biofilter
The Ecoflo Biofilter from Premier Tech Water and Environment treats wastewater naturally, without power, using organic filtering media made from a renewable raw material – coconut husks. The Ecoflo polyethylene unit is available as a stand-alone treatment unit (after the septic tank), or as an all-in-one compact “Pack” solution with the septic tank and pump chamber attached. Ultraviolet disinfection is easily incorporated, where required.
Eljen Corporation
The Geotextile Sand Filter (GSF) from Eljen Corporation is an economical in-bed, non-mechanical, non-aggregate, advanced wastewater treatment and dispersal technology. It is not a pre-treatment. In Pennsylvania, Eljen GSF is bed type suited to all elevated sand mound sites (using less area and height), and to shallow limiting zone at-grade bed sites (without pre-treatment).
Infiltrator Water Technologies
The Infiltrator IM series Polyethylene tanks are water tight and light weight. These tanks are well adapted to drainage impeded and hard-to-reach sites. Infiltrator Quick 4 chambers can replace stone aggregate to enable up to a 40% reduction in absorption area size.
